It has become near impossible to imagine a year passing without the anticipation and excitement of a fashion week. The South African fashion scene has grown both in stature and quality, converting non-believers into believers and skeptics…well into patriots. The shows are nothing short of sheer excellence, creativity and inspiration to all enthusiasts of the art.
We at kaizen and Black Love are looking foward to the talent,extravagance and yet another year of FASHION FASHION and more FASHION.
This years fashion calendar was kicked off with an Uber Creme de le Creme launch of Joburg fashion week at the club with a view from heaven Randlords.
The list of designers is an impressive one and to name a few new names and some of our favourites: Suzaan Heyns,Errol Arendz, Kluk CGDT,Abigail Betz,Thula Sindi and David also looking foward to Distinctive Wear, Loin Cloth and Grapevine. This four day (16-19 Feb) event will be taking place at the Fashion Kapitol and other venues to be used are Bus factory in Newtown,Jhb art gallery and Nelson Mandela Bridge.
